Who Doesn’t want or NEED more energy?
Here are some quick tips to get more energy starting now.
- REDUCE YOUR SLEEP –This may sound strange BUT consider Sleeping LESS!
I know! I know! You are so tired how can sleeping less actually help you feel better?
If you are spending time in bed tossing and turning and not actually sleeping try cutting back the number of hours you are actually in bed!
Start by going to bed later – start with one or two hours.
You will fall asleep faster and sleep better.
If this works – slowly add about 15 minutes back at a time.
This will help you determine how much sleep YOU need! not what someone tells you, you need!
- WATER
My favorite remedy!
Drink more water!
Our body is made up of about 60% water!
One of the first signs our body shows when we are short on water is FATIGUE!
Drink up — you should be consuming at least half your body weight in water a day (i.e. if you are 150 pounds you should drink at least 75 ounces of water a day!
- REDUCE STRESS!
Easier said then done I know.
There are so many tips out there on how to meditate, yoga, deep breathing etc. etc. They all work but take practice to figure it out.
The easiest thing to do is….just walk away from your desk for 10 minutes 2-3 times a day.
Go for a walk. I started doing this and before I knew it not only did it help with stress but my clothes started feeling a little looser as well!
Unplug! No phone just walk away!
